Hazard: The blocked vent switch (BVS) can fail to shut down the burners if the boilers are installed at altitudes above 2,000 feet and the vent system becomes blocked. In such an event, the boiler can emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide into the building, posing a carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The air pressure switch can fail to shut down the burners in the event that there is a blockage in the vent system allowing the boiler to emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide, posing a CO poisoning hazard to the consumer.

Hazard: The boilers can generate excessive levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in the flue gases, posing a risk of CO poisoning.
