Hazard: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Hazard: Harness failure may cause an engine stall or the brake lights and parking brake to fail, increasing the risk of a crash. Damaged wires may also melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Hazard: A detached axle stabilizer bracket can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Hazard: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Hazard: A cooling pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire. In addition, wiring damage may cause a loss of turn signal, hazard lights, and/or collision system function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Corrosion of the ignition coil pack fuses can cause a misfire and loss of engine power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Without engine braking, a driver may experience longer stopping distances than expected, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: There is no pawl to engage when the transmission shift lever is set to the park position, which could lead to the truck rolling away, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: An incorrectly wired oil pressure sensor will not alert the driver to low oil pressure, possibly resulting in an engine stall and increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Air intake into the fuel hose increases the risk of engine stalling, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: An unexpected change in turning radius and difficulty steering can increase the risk of a crash.

Hazard: The misalignment may cause the propeller shaft to separate, causing a loss of power to the rear wheels and a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Leaking engine coolant and/or a damaged wire harness may result in a no-start condition, an engine stall, or an electrical short. These scenarios increase the risk of a crash or fire.

Hazard: Over time, heat from the exhaust pipe may cause the conduit and insulation to deteriorate, exposing the wires, possibly causing a short circuit which could result in a no-start condition or a fire.

Hazard: If the cable is broken and repeated attempts are made to start the vehicle, the starter may ground through the steel braiding of the power steering hose, allowing it to heat up and possibly rupture, increasing the risk of a fire.

Hazard: Depending on which wires get damaged, the vehicle can experience stalling and/or reduced functionality of the ABS, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: If the rear driver side brake fails, the vehicle may experience reduced braking, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: In the event of a crash, if the occupant is not properly restrained, there is an increased risk of injury.

Hazard: If the lug nuts were not properly tightened, they can loosen, causing the to wheel separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Unexpected loss of steering increases the risk of a crash.

Hazard: If the vehicle's turning radius is increased, there is an increased risk of a crash.

Hazard: If the front driveshaft detaches from the vehicle, drive power will be lost, increasing the risk of a crash. The detached driveshaft may also create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash for following traffic.

Hazard: An incorrect odometer reading could lead to an unintended delay in critical safety related maintenance, potentially impairing the safe operation of the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: If the cab tilts forward while driving, it can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Hazard: If the brake switch and nylon retainer are not properly secured, the switch can detach from the bracket causing the brake lights to illuminate whether or not brake pedal is depressed, the shift interlock will not operate and the accelerator pedal input will be disabled resulting in the inability to accelerate. These conditions can increase the risk of a crash.

Hazard: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Hazard: A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash, serious injury or death.
