Recalled Snowman Nightlight Diffuser
Hazard
The scented oil can drip, causing the nightlight base to crack or break, exposing electrical wire or metal parts inside the nightlight, thus causing a potential shock hazard. There is also a risk of cuts, if the nightlight breaks.
Remedy
Consumers can get a free replacement nightlight base that will not crack or break from the oil. Known purchasers are being sent direct mail notification of this recall.

Avon has received 33 reports of the nightlight base breaking, including reports of electrical shorts. One complaint involved a consumer who was scratched when the nightlight broke.

Description

The diffuser nightlight has a white plastic base. A porcelain snowman attaches to the plastic nightlight to cover the nightlight bulb. The nightlight comes with winter holly scented oil that is placed in the snowman's top hat.
