Hazard
There is a small risk that the quick release axles of the rear wheels do not lock correctly. If the quick release axle is not fully and properly engaged, the wheel could become detached while moving. A detached wheel could result in loss of control of the cycle and potential for serious injury or death, due to a fall or collision with another object.
Remedy
Consumers should stop riding these cycles immediately and contact their local Sunrise Medical dealer for a free repair.

Sunrise Medical has received one report, in which the quick release failed and the rider suffered minor injuries.

Description

The recalled hand cycles come in a variety of colors and have "SOPUR" written on both sides of the bodywork.

Consumers should stop riding these cycles immediately and contact their local Sunrise Medical dealer for a free repair.
