The steel brake boss can detach from the frame, causing the rider to lose control and fall.

Consumers should stop using the bicycles immediately and contact your local Felt bicycle dealer to receive a free inspection and repair.

Felt Bicycles has received three reports of the brake boss coming loose. No injuries reported.

Description

This recall involves all model year 2005 and 2006 Kinesis-made RXC bicycles. The frames on these bicycles are made with carbon fiber rear seat stays and are equipped with V-style brakes, and not equipped with disk brakes from the factory. Frames affected by this recall were shipped to dealers between October 2004 and April 2006.

Consumers should stop using the bicycles immediately and contact your local Felt bicycle dealer to receive a free inspection and repair.
