Jensen's Old Fashioned Smokehouse, Inc. is recalling hot smoked salmon because it is not consistenly labeled "KEEP FROZEN" and the product has the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum.

Low salt, vacuum packaged, Hot Smoked Farmed Raised Salmon (Atlantic, Coho, Keta, King, Steelhead, and Sockeye). AKS (Alaska King Seafoods) products such as Sockeye Traditional, Coho Traditional, Keta Traditional, Farmed Atlantic Traditional are labeled in parts: "***IMPORTANT KEEP FROZEN***THAW UNDER REFRIGERATION (BELOW 38 F) IMMEDIATELY BEFORE USE***. Jack's Fish Spot products such as Coho, Keta, King, Sockeye are labeled in parts: "***Important: Keep Frozen. Thaw under refrigeration immediately before use***" Clippership products such as Steelhead, Coho, King, and Sockeye are labeled in parts: "***Important: Keep Frozen. Thaw under refrigeration immediately before use***". Anthony's products such as Keta Traditional and Coho Traditional have no labels.
