Hazard
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. In addition, pieces of the O-ring may clog the fuel lines, causing a loss of engine performance and increasing the risk of a crash. · NHTSA advisory: Do Not Drive
Remedy
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they replace the fuel filter. K&N will refund the purchase price, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 28, 2026. Owners may contact K&N customer service at [email protected] or 1-866-401-5660.

Description

K&N Engineering, Inc. (K&N) is recalling certain K&N and Spectre replacement fuel filters with part numbers KN81-0300, KN81-0301, SPE-2369, SPE-2358, and SPE-6932. The O-ring in the fuel filter may disintegrate, causing a leak.

What to do

Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they replace the fuel filter. K&N will refund the purchase price, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 28, 2026. Owners may contact K&N customer service at [email protected] or 1-866-401-5660.
