Consumer Product Recalls

Hazard: The recalled baby loungers violate the federal safety regulations for Infant Sleep Products because the sleeping pad is too thick, posing a suffocation hazard; an infant could fall out of an enclosed opening at the sides of the lounger or become entrapped; and the sides are too low to contain the infant and the loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard. These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants.

Hazard: The recalled high chairs pose a fatal suffocation risk because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees in violation of the federal Safe Sleep for Babies Act. In addition, the high chair poses a deadly entrapment hazard because the opening between the seat and tray is large enough that a child can become entrapped in it, which is a violation of the federal regulations for high chairs.

Hazard: The recalled auto belay device can fail to retract, posing a fall hazard and risk of serious injury or death.

Hazard: A fuse within the avalanche transceiver can be defective and cause power to drain from the battery, posing a risk of loss of emergency communication which could result in serious injury or death.

Hazard: The wall sconce's electrical wires can become damaged at the adjustable joints, posing a risk of electric shock.

Hazard: The recalled children’s pajama sets and robes violate the flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries and death to children.

Hazard: The recalled combiner cables can malfunction when used with Nomad-series solar panels, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The recalled pajamas violate the flammability regulations for children's sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Hazard: The boilers can release carbon monoxide (CO) due to delayed ignitions or component damage, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

Hazard: The aerostem fork steerer tube on the recalled bicycles can crack or break, posing fall and injury hazard.

Hazard: The heat or ozone on-off switch can short circuit, resulting in arcing, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The recalled window blinds have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children, due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window blinds are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard. The window blinds also violate federal regulations for labeling of window coverings.

Hazard: When the recalled carrier bearings are installed in a Polaris RZR XP Turbo or Turbo S vehicle and the fuel tank expands, the drive shaft can come in contact with the fuel tank, causing the tank to develop a hole or crack. This can cause the fuel tank to leak gasoline, posing fire and burn hazards.

Hazard: The retaining pin in the e-bike's disc brake calipers can loosen and dislodge from the caliper assembly, resulting in brake failure, posing crash and injury hazards to the rider.

Hazard: The recalled window blinds have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children, due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window blinds are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard. The window blinds also violate federal regulations for labeling of window coverings.

Hazard: The tip-over restraint straps can fail when used on certain Sauder clothing storage units (dressers and 4-drawer chests) to prevent tip-over incidents, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or serious injuries to children.

Hazard: The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not properly anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate performance and warning label requirements of the STURDY Act.

Hazard: The right-hand plastic switch cube can crack when exposed to brake fluid, causing a short circuit that starts the motorcycle unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard.

Hazard: The recalled Holosun Red and Gold Firearm Dot Sights violate the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because the lithium coin battery can be easily accessed, posing an ingestion hazard. The products include a lithium coin battery which is not in child-resistant packaging, as required by Reese's Law. In addition, the products do not bear the required warnings. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.

Hazard: The recalled camera grips violate the mandatory federal regulation for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries because, when the product is dropped, the battery tray can separate from its compartment, making the lithium coin battery easily accessible by children. If button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.

Hazard: The clutch cable can break on the recalled MX5400DTC utility tractors, resulting in reduced braking power, posing a crash hazard.

Hazard: The blade carrier spindle bolt can become loose, causing the blade assembly to detach while the mower is in operation, posing a laceration hazard to the user.

Hazard: The red tape on the bowling pin sipper cups contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

Hazard: The electric scooters' lithium-ion batteries can overheat, smoke, melt and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards, posing a risk of serious injury and death.

Hazard: The rear fender can come loose and can contact the rear wheel and stop the bike unexpectedly, causing the rider to lose control of the bike, posing a crash hazard.

Hazard: The tow handle can pinch consumers' fingertips against the cooler, posing fingertip amputation and crushing hazards.

Hazard: The drawstring in the hood of the recalled jackets can get caught on objects and cause death or serious injury to children due to the strangulation hazard. The jackets are in violation of the federal regulations for children's upper outerwear and present a substantial product hazard.

Hazard: The recalled 6-in-1 Pounding Game violates the mandatory federal regulation for magnets because it contains a magnet that can become loose, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or another metal object, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting and/or blockage of the intestines, infection, blood poisoning and death.

Hazard: The recalled resin menorahs can burn or catch fire when holding lit candles, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The lithium-ion battery in the recalled portable lamps can overheat while charging, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
