Hazard: The heads on the figures sold with the cars can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Hazard: The hooded sweatshirts have drawstrings, posing a strangulation hazard to children.

Hazard: These votive glass candle holders can break unexpectedly during use.

Hazard: Use of an improper tie rod adjustment procedure during assembly could lead to separation of the tie rod end housing from the attachment shaft. This could cause the rider to lose control of the ATV and result in injury or death.

Hazard: A defective internal heater in the recalled vaporizers and diffusers can cause sparking and emit flames while in use. This poses a fire, burn and shock hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The housing of the heating element can unexpectedly leak hot metal, posing a serious risk of a burn injury to the user.

Hazard: The handlebar can crack or break, causing the handlebar to detach while in use, posing a risk of injury to young children.

Hazard: Gas can leak from these valves, posing a risk of fires and explosions.

Hazard: The guards on some of these angle grinders will not fully cover a hubbed grinding wheel. As a result, if the hubbed grinding wheel comes apart during use, it could hit the user, possibly causing serious personal injury.

Hazard: Moisture in the heating element could cause corrosion over time, presenting a shock hazard.

Hazard: The fairy wand party favors can break apart, exposing sharp wires that pose a laceration hazard to children.

Hazard: On some units, the engine mount springs between the gear case and handle/frame could separate from their receptacle in the frame during heavy operation. Continued use could cause the engine and blades to swing free of the frame and hit the user, possibly causing lacerations.

Hazard: The recalled candleholders could allow tea lights to have a high flame. This poses a fire hazard and risk of burn injuries to consumers. This product was previously recalled by Pottery Barn on October 16, 2002.

Hazard: An overheating capacitor in these air purifiers can cause arcing in a connecting wire, which poses the risk of fire.

Hazard: The recalled candles can burn with a high flame and melt the plastic holders. This poses a fire hazard and a burn hazard to consumers.

Hazard: These battery packs can short circuit, causing them to overheat and possibly melt, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The protective boots covering the steering system's tie-rod ends (universal joints) on the recalled ATVs could be pinched during installation or adjustment, cutting a hole in the rubber. If this occurs, grease could escape, and contaminants, such as sand or mud, could get into the assembly through the hole, causing accelerated wear. This could result in abnormal steering free play. If the ATV continues to be operated without repair, the ball and socket portion of the tie-rod end could wear to the point that they separate, resulting in loss of steering control, which could cause a vehicle crash with injury or death.

Hazard: The paint coating on the outside of the candle can ignite, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: An electronic malfunction can occur in the ride-on vehicle's circuit board and/or battery connector, resulting in smoking and melting of components. This poses a vehicle fire hazard and a burn hazard to consumers, if components are touched while malfunctioning.

Hazard: The bike racks do not have sufficient hardware to support its weight on the wall. This can cause the bike rack to unexpectedly fall, hitting a nearby consumer.

Hazard: The large rugs fail to meet the federal mandatory standard for flammability, under the Flammable Fabrics Act, and could ignite, presenting a risk of burn injuries. The smaller size rugs are missing labels identifying them as flammable.

Hazard: The amplifier in the keypad can overheat, posing a burn or fire hazard.

Hazard: The tree could overheat and melt, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The Halloween decoration is intended for use with a single tea light candle. If all eight candles included with the unit are lit at the same time, it can generate too much heat and pose a fire hazard.

Hazard: The unit's control board can ignite and, in certain units, can result in the ignition of flammable material adjacent to the unit.

Hazard: A wooden strip added to the end assemblies of the crib to correct a spacing problem could come loose, creating a space, in violation of the federal crib standard, and posing a risk of entrapment. In addition, the three pin nails used to hold the strip in place pose a laceration hazard if the wooden strip detaches.

Hazard: The sharpener's razor blade is exposed when the cover is removed. Also, the pencil sharpener hole is large enough to allow a finger to fit inside. This poses a laceration hazard to children and adults.

Hazard: The fan wheel on these backpack blowers could break, resulting in pieces of plastic flying out of the blower housing. This poses a risk of injury to the user or a bystander.

Hazard: The fuel tank filler neck on these snowmobiles can crack. A crack in the filler neck area may cause the filler neck to separate from the fuel tank. A crack or filler neck separation may allow fuel or fuel vapors to escape from the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: Stroller handle-locking clips can unlock during use, causing stroller to collapse.
