Hazard: The steering shaft used on certain 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Arctic Cat snowmobiles can fail at the steering shaft/steering arm attachment. This could cause a loss of steering control of the vehicle, and result in injury or death.

Hazard: The handlebars, wheels and wheel brakes can break and detach, causing the rider to lose control, fall and possibly suffer injuries.

Hazard: The mounting brackets used to secure the left-front suspension arm to the ATV frame may not have been welded completely and could break off during riding. If this occurs, the rider could lose control of the ATV and crash, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

Hazard: The quick release skewers can unexpectedly fail or break, when locked in position. When this happens, the rider could lose control and fall.

Hazard: The steel brake boss can detach from the frame, causing the rider to lose control and fall.

Hazard: The bicycle's stem has a magnesium faceplate that holds the handlebar in place. The faceplates on the recalled stems can crack, allowing the handlebar to break off the bicycle, posing a serious fall hazard.

Hazard: The cushion lever mounting bracket on the ATV frame can break. If this occurs, the rider could lose control of the ATV and crash, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

Hazard: Product testing has demonstrated that these helmets do not comply with CPSC safety standards for impact resistance. Consumers could suffer impact head injuries in a fall.

Hazard: The recalled snowmobiles fuel tank could crack and leak, allowing fuel or fuel vapors to escape, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Hazard: The fastener torque securing the starter motor to the engine crankcase may not have been accurately applied during the manufacture of these snowmobiles or during the installation of an accessory starter. An improperly torqued starter motor fastener bolt may become loose and fall out, allowing the bolt to interfere with the lower steering drag link. This could allow the consumer to experience a loss of steering control.

Hazard: If a person assembles the trampoline alone and the outside rail is released momentarily, the trampoline can snap back into the folded position and strike the consumer, posing a risk of serious injury.

Hazard: Cracks can appear in the starter ring gears, causing ring gear fragmentation at high speeds. The debris can act as a projectile, causing injury or death to riders or bystanders.

Hazard: Certain 2005 Eiger model year ATVs were assembled with an improperly manufactured plastic fuel tank. The thin portion of these tanks could develop a fuel leak, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The alloy frame used for these bicycles can be prone to fatigue failure. Frame failure results in the separation of the fork, head tube, and handlebar away from the rest of the bike, causing a loss of control and crash, and posing a risk of serious injury to the rider.

Hazard: A safety defect could exist in the transmission, that could allow the rider to downshift from 1st gear into reverse, without operating the reverse assist (lockout) lever. The reverse lockout spring may not have been properly installed. Unintended engagement of reverse gear while moving forward could lock the rear wheels and cause the rider to lose control.

Hazard: Tie rod separation caused by either wear or severe impact can occur during operation, causing the front wheel to separate from the steering control. Separation of the tie rod can cause the rider to lose control of the ATV, resulting in a serious injury or death to the rider.

Hazard: Use of an improper tie rod adjustment procedure during assembly could lead to separation of the tie rod end housing from the attachment shaft. This could cause the rider to lose control of the ATV and result in injury or death.

Hazard: The protective boots covering the steering system's tie-rod ends (universal joints) on the recalled ATVs could be pinched during installation or adjustment, cutting a hole in the rubber. If this occurs, grease could escape, and contaminants, such as sand or mud, could get into the assembly through the hole, causing accelerated wear. This could result in abnormal steering free play. If the ATV continues to be operated without repair, the ball and socket portion of the tie-rod end could wear to the point that they separate, resulting in loss of steering control, which could cause a vehicle crash with injury or death.

Hazard: The bike racks do not have sufficient hardware to support its weight on the wall. This can cause the bike rack to unexpectedly fall, hitting a nearby consumer.

Hazard: The fuel tank filler neck on these snowmobiles can crack. A crack in the filler neck area may cause the filler neck to separate from the fuel tank. A crack or filler neck separation may allow fuel or fuel vapors to escape from the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The drive pulley inner flange could break, resulting in the broken flange fragments becoming projectiles. This situation could cause serious injuries or death to the rider or bystanders.
